After a month of football and 51 matches, Euro 2024 has finally come to an end. The winners and European champions are Spain who beat England in the final. No-one predicted Spain to win but Gloria correctly predicted the two finalists and she accumulated a record 40 points, 3 points more than Joan, Keith, Michelle and Neil in 2nd place. Gloria is the Euro 2024 Champion Predictor and she receives the 1st prize of £75. The 4 runners-up receive a share of the 2nd prize amounting to £6.25 each.
 
Thank you to everyone who took part in the competition and congratulations to the winners. That’s it for another four years. However, the World Cup  - a similar competition but a bigger tournament – begins in two years’ time. If you enjoyed Euro 2024 you will probably also enjoy World Cup 2026.
